IoT and building automation company KMC Controls is partnering with technology leader Dell at FMA’s Future Facilities Summit on May 15–17, 2017. Taking place at Chateau Elan Winery, just north of Atlanta, GA, KMC Controls, Dell and 24 other top smart solutions providers are coming together with 100 leaders from Fortune 500 & 1000 companies to discuss the future of smart buildings and IoT.

At the gathering, KMC Controls will be delivering a keynote presentation about smart buildings and KMC Commander. Built on the Dell Edge Gateway, KMC Commander delivers an IoT platform that allows business owners to connect meters, sensors and devices to the gateway and securely transmit that data to the cloud. KMC Commander then delivers standard analytics like histories, trends, alarms and schedules, and with a commitment to open standards, an API is provided to allow the data to be used in a user’s analytics package of choice. Plus, KMC Commander has built in support for controlling certain devices through the platform, giving great flexibility to end users in a very affordable package.
