KMC Controls, a leader in building automation systems, today announced its platinum-level sponsorship of the bi-annual Haystack Connect conference. Haystack Connect 2015 will be held at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs Colorado from May 18th through May 20th, 2015. Project-Haystack is a community of individuals and corporations at the leading edge of smart data, smart device, and smart building development. The goal of the project is to develop a system that allows data from smart devices and systems to work seamlessly across a broad range of Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
KMC is developing a complete IoT Platform for building automation that forms an end-to-end solution, from sensors and controllers (edge devices) to cloud-based remote management applications. Remote visualization and control are enabled via a cloud-hosted, mobile application based architecture with secure data access. KMC’s Vice President of Technology, Dave Bohlmann, says, “The Haystack community has made incredible progress in bringing smart systems together. We are excited about the opportunity to learn from and contribute to such an innovative collection of technology minds.”
